RBI GRADE B RECRUITMENT 2024 Notification

The official notification for RBI Grade B Recruitment 2024 has been released, inviting eligible candidates to apply for the posts of Officers in Grade ‘B’. The online registration for applications and payment of application fees will be open from July 25, 2024, to August 16, 2024, until 6:00 PM.

How to Apply for RBI GRADE B RECRUITMENT 2024?

RBI GRADE B RECRUITMENT 2024 Application Fee

The application fee structure for RBI Grade B Recruitment 2024 is as follows:

• SC/ST/PwBD: ₹100/- + 18% GST (Intimation Charges only)
• General/OBC/EWS: ₹850/- + 18% GST (Application fee including Intimation Charges)
• RBI Staff: Nil

RBI GRADE B RECRUITMENT Eligibility Criteria 2024

Age Limit

As of July 01, 2024, candidates must be between 21 and 30 years old, born between July 02, 1994, and July 01, 2003.

Educational Qualifications

1. Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR) – in General:

• Graduation in any discipline with at least 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD) or equivalent.
• Post-graduation in any discipline with at least 55% marks (pass marks for SC/ST/PwBD) or equivalent.

1. Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR) – in DEPR:

• A Master’s Degree in Economics or Finance with at least 55% marks or equivalent from a recognized University/Institute.

1. Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR) – in DSIM:

• A Master’s Degree in Statistics/Mathematics/Data Science/Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning/Big Data Analytics with at least 55% marks or equivalent from a recognized University/Institute.

RBI GRADE B RECRUITMENT Selection Process 2024

The selection process for RBI Grade B Recruitment 2024 includes three phases: Phase-I, Phase-II, and Interview.

Phase-I

The Phase-I examination will be held on September 08, 2024. It will be an online objective type test consisting of four sections: General Awareness, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning, with a total duration of 120 minutes.

Phase-II

Phase-II will be conducted on October 19, 2024, for candidates shortlisted from Phase-I. It will consist of three papers:

1. Economic and Social Issues: Objective and descriptive type.
2. English (Writing Skills): Descriptive type.
3. General Finance and Management: Objective and descriptive type.

Interview

Candidates who qualify in Phase-II will be called for an interview, which will carry 75 marks.

RBI GRADE B RECRUITMENT 2024 Salary

Selected candidates will receive a starting basic pay of ₹55,200 per month in the pay scale of ₹55,200-99,750. Along with this, they will be entitled to various allowances, including Special Allowance, Grade Allowance, Dearness Allowance, Local Compensatory Allowance, Special Grade Allowance, Learning Allowance, and House Rent Allowance. The initial monthly gross emoluments (excluding HRA) are approximately ₹1,22,717.

Phase-I

The Phase-I exam will be an objective type test covering:

• General Awareness
• English Language
• Quantitative Aptitude
• Reasoning

Phase-II

The Phase-II exam includes:

1. Economic and Social Issues: Objective and descriptive type.
2. English (Writing Skills): Descriptive type.
3. General Finance and Management: Objective and descriptive type.
