Interested candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can apply online through the PGCIL official website. The application process involves two key steps:
- Registration: Candidates must first register on the respective apprenticeship portals:
- NATS (https://nats.education.gov.in) for Degree/Diploma in Engineering.
- NAPS (https://apprenticeshipindia.gov.in) for HR Executive, CSR Executive, Law Executive, and ITI (Electrician) trades.
- Application: After obtaining the NATS/NAPS registration/enrollment number, candidates should apply on the PGCIL website under the “Engagement of Apprentices” section.
There is no application fee, and the selection is based on merit. The application process does not involve any written examination or interview.
PGCIL Apprentice Recruitment Eligibility Criteria 2024
To be eligible for the PGCIL Apprentice Recruitment 2024, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Candidates should have passed their final examination within two years from the closing date of application (09.09.2022 to 08.09.2024).
- Candidates must be medically fit as per the provisions of the Apprentice Act, 1961.
- Candidates who are awaiting results, are under 18 years of age, have already undergone or are currently undergoing apprenticeship training, or have more than one year of job experience are not eligible.
PGCIL Apprentice Recruitment Selection Process 2024
The selection process for the PGCIL Apprentice Recruitment 2024 involves the following steps:
- Shortlisting: Applications will be screened based on eligibility criteria and the number of training slots. Shortlisted candidates will be notified via email.
- Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification in a ratio of 1:5 based on merit.
- Final Selection: A merit list will be prepared based on the document verification process. Selected candidates must accept a tri-partite apprenticeship contract and submit a medical certificate and police verification.
PGCIL Apprentice Recruitment 2024 Salary
Selected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend as per the trade and qualification:
- ITI Electrician: ₹13,500
- Diploma (Electrical): ₹15,000 (including ₹4,000 DBT)
- Graduate (Electrical/Computer Science): ₹17,500 (including ₹4,500 DBT)
- HR Executive, CSR Executive, Law Executive, Rajbhasha Assistant: ₹17,500
An additional ₹2,500 will be provided if company accommodation is not provided or availed.
